The airflow required for the separation process is provided from bottom to top in the separation channel. The light particles separated by the airflow are carried to the cyclone, where they are bagged in a rotating manner and conveyed to the next transporter. Heavy particles cannot be separated by the airflow, so they are discharged from the separator section.
The light particles transferred to the cyclone by the airflow are separated here and expelled through the rotating flap valves. Zig Zag Air Separator systems typically operate with recirculating airflow. The cleaned air in this airflow returns to the separator section through the blower. For dustier or more humid products, partial air circulation or suction modes can also be used. The required air and pressure are provided by the centrifugal blower.
Zig Zag Air Separator Application:
-Highly precise separation process (8 to 15 separation stages) thanks to the multi-stage, cross-flow separation process.
-To achieve stable operating conditions, specially designed air devices are used.
-Airflow and control can be adjusted to maintain consistent product quality.
-The facility can be easily cleaned due to additional cleaning valves in the separator channel.
-No emission source is present in the recirculating airflow mode.
-It is long-lasting as there are no rotating parts inside the separator, ensuring durability.
-The design is robust and strong.
