VERTICAL HULLER

Vertical Hullers have been proven to provide the highest whole grain yield using a vertical abrasive, top-down working principle. Grains enter the Hullers through two feed routes and are directed into the processing chamber via a feed screw. There, the grain surface is carefully whitened between six abrasive rings and the sieve. The rotor is dynamically balanced to ensure smooth operation. Hulling intensity is controlled by two easily adjustable tools, the counterweight on the holding door and the gap between the rotor and the brakes. For coarse adjustments, vertical brakes attached to the sieve basket are moved simultaneously by rotating a handwheel, adjusting the resistance in the chamber. Fine adjustments are made by changing the position of the counterweight on the holding door, controlling the pressure. The gravity flow of the product allows for smooth restarting in case of an emergency shutdown. Application: The Vertical Hullers are versatile and can be adapted to various products such as wheat, barley, peas, lentils, millet, rice, chickpeas, and mung beans. It is designed to meet the highest requirements for precise hulling. It is an excellent tool to achieve the best surface treatment with the highest whole grain yield. The machine can be operated with minimal effort and is easy to maintain. Thanks to its optimized sanitation concept, cleaning time is nearly eliminated. Aspirator System: The Vertical Hullers are equipped with an optimized aspirator system that efficiently performs two tasks: it cools the grains and reduces breakage while helping to transfer the hulls from the body compartment to the exhaust system. Therefore, the aspiration air is directed partly through the product and partly around the sieves. The easily detachable aspiration head provides full access to the center of the machine. For optimal cleaning, the body removal system contains no moving parts. An ammeter and vacuum gauge monitor the motor current and the negative pressure of the applied exhaust system.
