Operating Principle and Function The pendulum bucket elevator is used for the precise vertical transport of all types of granular products. It is especially ideal for the seed industry. Additionally, it can control large horizontal distances, allowing for the combination with belt conveyors or interchangeable use with standard bucket elevators. Incoming products are fed into the pendulum bucket elevatör continuously and with high precision via a shaker feeder. The ends of the buckets intersect at the intake section, preventing the spillage of seeds. Due to its rotational mounting on the chain, the buckets maintain their horizontal position along the elevator frame until reaching the discharge outlet. At the discharge point, each bucket tilts, and the outgoing product is precisely directed into the discharge hopper. The pendulum bucket elevator can be equipped with several air inlet holes and discharge points. When only one discharge point is operated, the air inlets can also be activated simultaneously.
