INDENT CYLINDER SEPARATOR

Function and Application The pocket cylinder is used to separate desirable particles of appropriate length from undesired short products and residues in granular materials (such as wheat, oats, fine seeds, lentils, beet seeds, and sunflower seeds). These particles can range from 1.0 to 24 mm in size. The product passes through the inlet and enters the internal rotation cylinder, from which it moves to the notched pockets placed inside the chamber. The particles are carried by the pockets and after traveling a certain distance, they fall out of the pockets into the internal chamber (indicated by the yellow arrow). The material is then discharged by a conveyor (auger). All the remaining material, products, and residues stay in the chamber and are expelled along with other shell debris. As a result, the products are sorted and classified according to their length and roundness.
